Yeah Linda, best idea yet, stick with Mailo.
Why, when something is asked abiut a specific dog, does everyone feek the nees to "dirty up" the dogs name, by trashing the OP of the question.
What LTS does with her dogs, has nothing to do with what is thought of Mailo.
And, instead of talking crap about his owner and speculating "WHY", call him and ask him. His number and e-mail is out there.

The reason it's done is because the people who are the ones breeding without verifying at least Hips & Elbows are clear is for nothing but MONEY...

I think any breeder of any breed should be at least breeding for Healthy animals...If they aren't then they ARE NOT reputable breeders and should be identified as such...Although not everyone agrees with the SV on what should and shouldn't be as evidenced by new clubs surfacing that have different requirements and backed by leaders of our German Shepherd Breed...

I don't know nor have I seen in person "Mailo"... he has an excellent pedigree and I have seen videos of him and think he is a very nice young dog...Congradulations to Parrish...

I think that if you've bred a female and not getting the results you're wanting then it's time to do some other tests before breeding again...For instance I think a Progesterone Test would be appropriate before trying to breed again...

Good posts Steve and WDogz.............and Steve not just OFAs but also--you said an IPO an KK--I just say anything other than a canine good citizen  whether it is OB, herding tests or even a conformation win, I know there are exceptions but most judges place a great deal on temperament. In other words. do something to show the dog's not just in the backyard 24/7....I have avoided this thread cause I am always getting accused of bashing people, but I too have watched those ads ad checked out the site--I remember the last litter that the girl you keep breeding came out of. You were begging people--through the ad--to co own them or anything--I felt so sorry for those puppies--I even talked to my mentor and we decided  against it because it wasn't what we were looking for.............I wish  had tha................t girl cause I could have saved all the wear and  tear on her. LTS, thanks Wdogz--I like that. It fits the picture perfectly....I can't believe either that she knows nothing about xrays--the people who helped me were OFAing in the 80's...............I'm sorry you guys I really didn't mean to et on this thread but damn girl. Wake up and smell the coffee-I really hope you do turn things around..............time will tell...................

First of all you guys should be glad that I am going to test them all.   Yes, Hanna had an accidental litter of only 3 pups and
they were sold as local pets without papers.  So she is actually considered proven.  But accidents do happen and no I didn't
count that as a true litter as it's a lil embarrassing.  She was bred to only Rony, 2 different heat cycles.  He did not get her
pregnant.  People come on here to gain knowledge.  Don't criticize me now for doing what u guys say is the right thing.
Quit bashing me for the past.  I want to OFA, DM test etc. my dogs.   I am by  no way rich so it takes time.
The female I purchased  Farah I did receive her xrays and was told I can use them for OFA but I can't.  So having to redo
her  hips with OFA   She does have her  SG rating and  ATT    I don't have help am doing this by myself one dog at a time.
I'm scheduling a couple of  them to get their  CGC hopefully this month.  I have learned alot on here, just be a lil kinder to
newbies so they can actually learn and not get turned off by the attitude.

One more thing, I did do a progesterone test on Hanna.  She was ready to breed very early like day 8 and I've never
had a female ready that early.

As i said my post is what i believe to be doing right by the breed, But then i am a very stubborn Guy, as said by many who know me not my words. I like things done the right way as i see them. You can guess i am talking about Gina she has all the requirements she needs to be bred  from except she still has to get her IPO 2 and 3 which will be done by the end of this year. the IPO 2 in September. She has just passed her B.O.P 1 Grade but that was done just for the fun and also she worked along side three other dogs which was the aim of doing  it. now she will probably be entered into the Belgian B.O.P 1 Championship again just for fun and experienece. Regards breeding her, that has to wait until the Belgian Selection Trials are over next Spring, because that is the thing i am aiming at but she could have produced two good sized litters and all would have been sold, had i a mind to doing it  but work comes first in our case. i relate this just to explain what i think a dog must be capable of doing before it is bred from

Stevewe all know that you take this all very seriously and that you do have the best for thr breed in your heart. There is nothing wrong with that.
I myself have come along way in the breed, despite, some of thr help along the way.
I just hate seeing mud slinging on a thread about a specific dog, or person, when that dog or person did nothing to get the mud slung toward them

Well KitKat I do understand your post--I think people's worries are about the health testing thing and also about not doing anything with her dogs to prove their worthiness for a breeding program.............we all have our brags on what our dogs do and where we place them and we are passionate about it...........and I only hope for the breed's sake that she does change her ways...................just my 2 cents.....................

I understand Joni's post; now when someone Google searches Mailo, this crap will come up and it does somewhat tarnish him as well as Parrish.  Whatever made Parrish decide to allow the breeding is his decision and prerogative.  Maybe he was impressed with the bitch, maybe he was lied to....without ASKING PARRISH, we won't know. I, for one, have enough going on in my real life not to feel the need to police the internet and snoop into other people's private business simply for the sake of gossip, which is all it will ever be unless you ASK PARRISH WHY. If you don't care enough to ask why, and ask a reliable source who would actually know why, then imo, you shouldn't be trashing them. There is always way more to a story than people know...even when they think they know it all.
