This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.

Töfra Ljósálfur
4:30 am 295 grams double dewclaws
Shorthaired, HD-Good (A2). Töfra Ljósálfur stayed with me until he was around 4 months old. He was my very first "puppy subject" (well the two litters were until they left) with clicker training. I was fortunate enough to be able to show Alfur a few times in Norway before he left. He was a very popular puppy at the shows and everyone including the judges fell in love with him for his character and charisma. He walked a perfect heel at the age of 3 months and the judges couldn´t believe their eyes, because although he walked like a fullgrown obedience pro he also showed extreme happiness and puppy spirit while he was behaving! Operant conditioning (clicker training) wasn´t well known in Norway at the time so of course this surprised people to see a young puppy behave so well, I´m sure there are alot more dogs in the ring today with similar training. Shown on the left with his Best Puppy in Show rosette at just under 4 months (he wasn´t old enough to take part, in Norway they have to be 4 months old, but the show organizer allowed us to take part because there was only a day or two until his 4 month birthday. Of course the judge didn´t know he wasn´t quite of age yet :-) Alfur is one of my favourite puppies, he was so easy to train and so calm and sweet. He travelled around Norway with us in a car for as many as 9 hours each trip and never a single bark or whine, he just amazed me with his temperament. He had to endure an extremely long trip with lots of delays so I was very worried about him during our trip, he had to travel in Cargo but I was accompanying him on the plane. The workers at the Boston airport couldn´t pronouce his name so they called him Oliver and they kept me informed of how he was doing while we had a long stopover so I didn´t worry about him as much. He was a real crowd pleaser and I´m sure he must have left a good impression of Icelandic sheepdogs in the minds of all of the airport workers, in Iceland, Boston and Canada, never a bark or whine, calm collected and happy to be where ever he was and with whoever was with him. Alfur is owned by Pineridge Icelandics in B.C. Canada and has some offspring in Canada and USA.
