12 Months ago I bought a Male Westhighland Terrier to breed with my Female , however the Dog only has 1 testicale and now I would like a lot of opinions as to what to do about this .
I paid $1500.00 for him and as a castrated dog that is a lot of money

You seem to have a monocryptorchid, bummer. Did the pup have both testis when you got him? Neither or just one showing?
Where did the dog come from? Breeder? Pet Store, friend. For that kind of money i think i would be asking for a replacement or that they offer you a replacement breeding with a normal stud.
I'd never pay $1500 for any dog let alone a toy terrier. But i would be asking a lot more from the person you got the dog from.

It is a not that unusual for a pet home buyer to pay that amount, if it is the breed of dog they want. What is not advisable is to breed solely because a dog has both testicles. And never to breed a dog with one testicle.

The ones i've been seeing the last few years could fit the toy breed catagory. Course the weste i had as a child was a honker of a bitch and too big to go to ground. But i'l never forget Patsy. First dog to eve bite me in the face.
Still i'm not dropping that kind of cash for such a little dog.

You are better off paying a stud fee than owning a stud dog, that way you get way more choices,
cause what if he had both testicles and was not a great producer, go with a proven stud...

Sell him to someone else as a nice pet/companion, many people pay that price even when they already know they will neuter the dog.

First of all , how do you reply to messages also what do you think would be a good price for a Pet but Castrated Westie I am taken this to my Legal bloke as I want compensation . The Male will have to be castrated as the one that didn't come down could turn Cancerous and depending wether it is in the tube , or further back it could cost me between 4 and 500 dollars . On top of that , my little Girl will be on  heat soon .  So I have to find a good Boy for her , and what does a service fee cost ?
Any and All help will be and is appreciated .
Thank all of you so far  .
Peter .

maybe you should ask yourself if the breed benefits wit a breeder that takes a year to find out that his stud dog only has one testikel, unless it's specified in contract you bought the dog for studservices here in europe you don't have a case i don't know about us laws
