http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/5822.html I was just lookin at the pedigrees of my dog, and noticed this. How can a dog from the 1920's breed with dogs from the 1990's..I dont think so. How would someone go about changing this?

Cheers Stacy For some acadamic exercise, the details of which are too gory to pain you with, I've made detailed study of large number of early pedigrees as displayed on this site, and struck numerous similar contradictions/obvious errors/impossible lineage and the like. This list totals over 55 animals, and yours is no doubt one of them. How to fix? I haven't a clue, as many of these pedigrees run back into the Dark Ages!

Stacy, If you have the full pedigree of your dog you can go back to the particular dog's pedigree that are in question and click on the update pedigree. Then put in the proper parentage. No guarantee as to how long it will take the webmaster to change it though. I have been waiting on some of mine for months now. I have also noticed that if you put in "unknown" for a dog's ancester, it will show a false pedigree that is impossible to be true. Someone has put a "joke" pedigree in for the name "unknown male" and "unknown female". I have asked to have these removed, but to no avail.
