If there are good SERBIAN BREEDERS out there,
post your WEB-SITES out there. What are the living conditions that the dogs live in.
Where you got your dogs from. Who are you doing business with? Who are the Breeders in Germany you are dealing with?  How long have you been breeding?
What health testing are you doing?
If the dogs are so GREAT, and everything is super about your dogs, you should have nothing to hide.
If not.. STOP YOUR PONZI SCHEME, and the cheating.
The GERMAN SHEPHERD world is small, NO ONE will ever buy from ANYONE who cheats, lies, and steals.

If you can't respond to this then all I will say is...

DO NOT BUY ANY GERMAN SHEPHERDS OR ANY BREED OF DOG FROM SERBIA!! BAD!!

A couple of years a go, Susie who was a member here said that she traveled to Serbia and while there, she mentioned that she checked out the situation with the dogs and breeders.
She mentioned that it is a very poor country with people struggling to feed their families and while there are a few legit breeders there who care about their dogs and breeding practices, the rest are just struggling to survive.

Does that mean that they get a pass on ripping people off? NO. Does it mean that people here, in the USA should continue to look for bargains in Serbia, buying pregnant dogs for a few hundred dollars and selling them here for thousands? Just like anything else, if the demand for these bargain based "super dogs" did not exist, if breeders in the USA and other countries did not continue hunting for these dogs, the market would dry up, but, certain people cannot understand that if something is too good to be true, it usually is not a good idea to get involved.
You always get what you pay for, always. Dealing with people in a foreign country that you have never met and sending them money is idiotic at best.
Personally, I dont feel bad for anyone who has been ripped off this way...they either knew they were taking a chance and gambled, or, they felt they would be the exception, in the end though, they learned a lesson, albeit an expensive one.

Stop bargain basement hunting for "super dogs", if they exist, they would not be for sale. Quit buying imports from quasi legit breeders, buy from people who have a reputation to lose if they screw up, those who have bred and sold dogs to hundreds of people over the years.
I would not have a problem with sending money to Duke1965 for a dog, even though I have never met the man, but, he does have a reputation and he has been in business a long time.
There are many breeders here, in the USA that breed outstanding dogs, no, not for that bargain price, but, again, you get what you pay for. Enjoy your Sunday.

Hi Hired Dog.
I personally did not, and would not buy German Shepherd dog/puppy from Serbia. I am not a Breeder.

I get my dog, one dog at a time, and when they pass on, grieve, wait a few months and start new then contact the Breeder that I got the previous dog from.
On and on these ads pop up. I thought that PEDIGREE DATABASE was monitoring this.
Not just Serbia, but other Countries that are questionable.
I just want to warn people who don't know any better.
They are probably intimidated/afraid to ask for help on PEDIGREE DATABASE because the next thing you know, things go way off topic and there is never a real answer for a person looking for help or answers.
You are right.. about the bargain basement Breeder buyer's, you get what you pay for, and in a lot of cases, no dog, or a poor specimen with a lot of issues. Health wise.

If Breeders (UNITED STATES) are re-selling the dogs to people for outrageous prices, then I have no mercy for them and that's payback for them.

Whats the saying ''A CHEAT THAT CHEATS PEOPLE WILL ON DAY GET CHEATED".

Great response and thank you!
Dawn

It's true, I was scammed and robbed by the breeder Miodrag Stojancevic from the EMSI HAUS kennel

by Laker on 31 May 2020 - 21:05

I have to say that not all breeders are scammers in Serbia. I have dealt with Boghaus Kennels and have purchased beautiful German Shepherd’s from Zoran and have been very pleased. I was also lucky enough to have good health, passing hip and elbows and DM Normal. I also had no problems getting my pedigrees and no issues getting my AKC Registration. Although I have had my share of scammers in other countries!

@Laker, nobody doubts there are some decent, ethical, breeders in Serbia and it is great that you found one of them. The kennel is noted, by me and others, and your post will be 'forever' researchable on a PDB site search !

The problem is that for months and months now we have been getting people posting about their bad experiences from breeders in that country. Sure, complaints come in from elsewhere too (and many are for exactly the same reasons: people stumping up money without doing thorough advance research, being too trusting of adverts, etc) but there have been SO many concerning breeding in Serbia that folk really do need to take warning from the likes of Susie's reports and from the posts from the many people scammed.

I said on another thred that for me @ least it is extremely uncomfortable branding 'all' breeders 'scammers' just based on which country they are from - but buyers clearly need to have as many and as strong warnings as possible.

I'm a bit baffled why the OP would not have done their homework first, on ANY breeder, most especially one from another country, where it would be much harder to chase your dollars.

I'm sure if the OP would have come here and searched the forums they would have found enough information to cause pause.

I've read enough about bad experiences there, just from casually visiting these forums.

Because a lot of people don't, EntwerferHaus. Anyone think they can explain ? For some I suppose its as HiredDog says, they are bargain chasing, because they think local breeders ask too much money. But if you factor in the money you lose if you get scammed, costs of shipping etc, these dogs really don't work out to be such cheap deal. And who wants a cheap deal anyway on a sentient being that you hope to get years of fun and work or sport out of, not just a lawn ornament ? I would much rather pay more money for a dog I'd got a chance to meet before purchase and whose careful upbringing I had already researched, and that way at least have some knowledge as to what I was buying, than take 'pot luck' on even the most exciting sounding advert.

Hund, the people who are interested in paying a few hundred dollars for a pregnant dog are not looking for a companion or a sport dog, they are looking for an ATM machine that can produce a few litters and get sold to someone else and produce a few more and so on and so forth.
I have seen adds advertising such, "we are her 6th owners, she is 7 years old and she only had 9 litters of puppies that were all great, plenty more time to breed this girl", BARF...
When I said that I dont feel sorry for those people, I meant it. Now, please dont get me wrong, if you want to breed a young healthy bitch and produce some really nice puppies, please, do it and have fun, I am not a tree hugger, but, have some respect for the animal, have some decency as a human being for the well fare of that dog, dont breed it until its dead and dont sell it once you are done with her so someone else can do it at her old age.

All that being said, has anyone had any dealings with Naisshof kennel or Milan Spasic from Serbia?

Thanks
