Anyone have any knowledge, experience, observation of Gauner? My understanding is that he is extreme with power and aggression, handler hard and clear headed.

Reach out to the owner. She is very nice. I have been around the dog briefly and he is social and approachable. May consider him in the future for my younger female.

Gauner is a very nice, stable dog. Yes hard but stable and social.
Gauner was one of the few dogs to pass the extremely difficult tracking portion at last year's USCA nationals.
I just bred a female to him. Due April 24.
His owner is a super trainer and person.

Gauner is a very nice dog. I train with his owner so see the dog weekly. Excellent power, aggression in the work, but very clear and social dog off the field. Athletic, sound, very biddable for obedience. He wants to please his handler. Very very nice tracking. He is producing quite well with different females also so far. His pups are young. Good color, outgoing confident puppies.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I felt good about my decision to get a pup out of Gauner and one of Mike’s bitches, but could not find any video of Gauner. Looking for a potentially high level competition dog. My sense was the breeding would produce high level prey and aggression, high handler hardness, clear headed dogs and good odds of health, as well as speed and agility due to correct size and conformation.
