I am tired of people breeding a dog till it is half dead and then selling it. Any responsible breeder will neuter or spay and give the dog a forever home. Instead of selling Him/Her!

the alternative to selling a dog that is no longer useful for income would be PTS. maybe some of them do get into a home that loves them.

Are you a breeder ? Dogs are livestock. If you have ever dealt with the law, that is how they are looked at. Livestock. I really like dogs, but I am a realist. Walt Disney did not do the dog world a favor with all their movies, thats for sure.

Breeding a dog does not make it half dead. Do you have a specific example of a dog that is half dead from breeding ? Or are you talking about a bitch ?
You want to come on a public forum and bitch about something, but don't want to tell anyone which bitch, which kennel, and which horrible person you are talking about. C'mon, and then you want someone to take you seriously ?

It was a general statement. People sell dogs at 6 and 7 years old because the dog has produced pup after pup and now is no good to them. A breeder should breed to make the breed better not for a profit then sell a dog just because it is no good for them any more. I am a Breeder i Bred my female at 2 and then at 4. She is now spayed and still lives in my home and sleeps in bed not in a concrete kennel! I must have hit a nerve Jeff!

He has a point; are you speaking in general terms, or do you have an example?
